Specialist / Helpdesk specialist

Responsibilities

  • Responding to requests and providing technical support to users in the use of computers, operating systems, software and IT devices

  • Troubleshoot and provide advice on the use of hardware and software

  • Registering and monitoring reports in the helpdesk system

  • Collaborate with other departments to resolve technical issues

  • Testing and configuring new software and preparing technical documentation

  • Managing user accounts in systems and databases

  • Installing and configuring hardware and software on user computers

  • Maintaining and updating documentation regarding hardware, software and procedures

  • Monitoring and administration of computer systems and networks

  • Training users in the use of computers and software

  • Support in the event of failures and problems related to the network and IT infrastructure

  • Maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction and ensuring timely resolution of requests

  • Understanding of IT security principles and the ability to apply them in practice.

  • Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other technical team members.

  • Education or experience in technical or user support will be an advantage.

  • Motivation for continuous self-development and learning new information technologies.

  • Good organizational skills and the ability to manage your own time to ensure that requests are handled effectively.
