One Money Mail Ltd. was set up in 2004. The idea behind the company came from a very clear market need for reliable, trustworthy financial transfer services from Great Britain to Poland. The services which were available on the market at the time were expensive, and the standard of the service fell far short of meeting customer expectations. We decided to fill this gap and after nine years of business, we can say that this has been a complete success. During this time, our efforts have been recognised by over 130,000 of satisfied customers and organisations, such as the Polish-British Chamber of Commerce which awarded us the prestigious Company of the Year prize for 2007. Today One Money Mail is a company which can boast experience through hundreds of thousands of transactions, a network of our own branches and over a two hundred affiliated agents working all across the British Isles. 2011 started with another success story. The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), the institution responsible for regulating the activity of companies in the financial sector, the equivalent of the Polish Banking Supervision Authority, gave One Money Mail the status of a Payment Institution. As well as being proof that we have met a range of rigorous requirements, PI status means that the road is open to us to expand into other EU markets.
